Benbecula Airport has a single passenger terminal, which services all of its flights. The facility is open Monday to Friday, from 09:00 until 16:15 and on Saturday from 11:00 until 00:30. There are no scheduled flights on Sundays.

British Airways runs flights to Glasgow, from where there are connections to other destinations around the UK, and Highland Airways manages flights to Stornoway. British Airways also provides a direct service from Benbecula to Barra.

This compact and well-designed airport provides a limited number of basic amenities for travellers. Small snacks and meals are provided by the airport's cafeteria and there are a small number of shops including a newsagent. However, the complex does not offer any duty-free shopping.


Some basic amenities such as pay phones and televisions are available in the terminal. However, there are no ATMs, banks or business facilities, so travellers should come prepared.

Airport and regional tourist information is available inside the main terminal building from staff in the reception area.

Benbecula Airport is designed to be completely accessible to disabled travellers, with specially fitted toilets in the terminal and ramps located throughout the airport where needed.

Disabled passengers are advised to contact their airline ahead of time if they need specific help with their travels.
